Urbanara source beautiful, high quality homewares from around the world. Made in Japan's Imabari precinct, the Mikawa Towel is the product of generations of towel crafting tradition. The waffle weave design was crafted using 100% GOTS certified organic cotton with a generous fabric density of 350 GSM. All towels produced in this region undergo stringent tests to measure absorbency, thread losing rate, and pile tear resistance. The water in the region is particularly soft and practically free from heavy metals, giving the collections a soft, absorbent finish. With towels from the Imabari collective displayed in design fairs around the world, including at London's Design 100% fair, there leaves no room for doubt: the quality of the Mikawa Towel is second to none.
